ACCOUNT & DATA DELETION

First: do you have an account with us?

In the current release you do — the game gives every save one, with no sign-up step. Open the game, go to Settings and read the ACCOUNT & SUPPORT row.

LOCAL ONLY — account backup is not active. Optional analytics is controlled separately by ANALYTICS & DIAGNOSTICS in builds that include it. Use On your device below; that is the whole of it.

GUEST or LINKED — a save exists on our servers. Use On our servers as well.

If the app is already uninstalled and you cannot check, write to us anyway. We will look, and we will tell you plainly if there was nothing to find.

On your device

The game keeps its save in the app's own storage on your phone. Nobody else can read it, and it never moves unless you have an account.

In the app: Settings → CLEAR GAME DATA ON THIS DEVICE. You get a confirmation step first, and cancelling changes nothing. Clearing removes your settings, your completed-match record and best scores, the paddle skin and ball trail you have equipped, and the app's memory that you have seen the tutorial. The game restarts as if freshly installed.

By uninstalling: removing the app removes the same storage with it, on both iOS and Android.

Neither one deletes anything held on our servers. If Settings said GUEST or LINKED, read on.

On our servers

The game keeps a copy of your progress under a random account identifier in Firebase (Google), so a new phone can pick your save back up. There is no name, no email address and no password in it unless you chose to link an Apple or Google sign-in. The same identifier is your RevenueCat customer, which holds what you bought and your coin balance.

From inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. That erases the account, the save stored against it and the RevenueCat customer. We ask you to confirm, and we say what goes before you do.

Without the app — uninstalled, lost phone, or you would rather not go back into the game — use your DELETION CODE here on this page. No sign-in, no reinstall, and it works the same whether you played as a guest or linked an Apple or Google account.

The game gives you the code at Settings → Account: 32 characters, in groups of four, with the date it stops working shown beside it. Save it somewhere safe before you uninstall — a guest account's only credential lives on the phone, and removing the app takes that credential with it. After an uninstall the code is the one thing left that can show the account is yours.

We will never ask you for your deletion code by email, and we will never send you one. It is typed into the box below and nowhere else. A message asking you for your code is not from us, whatever it looks like.

The box that redeems a code needs JavaScript, and it is switched off in this browser. Turn it on and reload, or write to support@brickbreakeroverdrive.com and we will take it from there — but do not put your code in the message.

No code, and the app is gone? Email support@brickbreakeroverdrive.com with the subject Delete my data. If you linked an Apple or Google sign-in, write from the address associated with your account; that is how we know the request is yours. If you played as a guest, tell us your PLAYER ID — while the app is installed the game shows it on the Settings screen and tapping that row copies it. Be aware that a player ID is not proof of ownership on its own: it is a label the game prints on screen, and anyone who saw that screen could quote it. We will look, we may write back once to ask something only the owner would know, and without a code we may not be able to verify the request at all. We will tell you plainly either way.

Never send us a password or a sign-in code; we do not need one and we will not ask.

What happens next

A code redeemed on this page is acted on as you press the button: we delete the account and the progress, cosmetics and any coin balance stored against it, and the page tells you when that has finished. If a step still has to be retried the page says the request is running — it will not report it finished until it is.

A request you send us by email we handle within 7 business days, and you get a message when it is done.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot bring the save back afterwards, and a new account started later begins empty.

What we cannot delete

Purchase records held by Apple or Google. If you ever buy anything in the game, the App Store or Google Play keeps its own record of that transaction and we have no way to remove it. Deleting your account is not a refund and does not cancel a purchase — ask Apple or Google for those.

Ordinary web and mail logs. Our website host and our mail provider log requests and messages the way every host does, including the message you send us asking for deletion. We keep a deletion request in the inbox only for as long as we need it to show the request was handled.

Something went wrong

If a deletion does not complete, put the same code back in the box above and press CHECK STATUS — a code you have already redeemed still reads back what happened to the request. If that does not answer it, or you do not hear from us, write again to support@brickbreakeroverdrive.com. A request that is still in progress is still in progress; we will say so rather than report it finished.
